TCS CodeVita Exam Dates 2024: Important Updates and Changes
Earlier Announced Dates
A month ago, I shared the initial TCS CodeVita schedule, and the dates were as follows:
- Round 1: 29th - 30th November 2024
- Mock Beta 1: 18th - 19th October 2024
- Mock Beta 2: 15th - 16th November 2024
However, there have been some changes, particularly to Mock Beta 2. If you’ve registered, you should have received an email with the new dates. The new dates for Mock Beta 2 are 5th - 6th November 2024.
New Updated Dates
TCS has officially updated the exam schedule, and here are the new dates:
- Round 1 (Gen 1): 15th - 16th November 2024
- Round 1 (Gen 2): 29th - 30th November 2024
- Round 2: 10th - 11th January 2025 (No change)
What You Need to Know
The most significant change is that Round 1 has been split into two parts:
- Gen 1 will now take place on 15th - 16th November.
- Gen 2 will take place on 29th - 30th November.
If you were planning to appear for Round 1 on 29th - 30th November, please note that this is now for Gen 2. The Gen 1 round has been moved to 15th - 16th November.
Why Mock Beta is Important
If you’re registered for Mock Beta 2, which will now be held from 5th to 6th November, it’s a great opportunity for you to practice and understand the exam format. This mock test will give you an idea of what to expect, and it’s strongly recommended that you participate, especially if this is your first time taking the exam.
Round 2 Update
The date for Round 2 remains unchanged:
- Round 2: 10th - 11th January 2025
This round is for those who successfully qualify Round 1, so keep preparing for it if you’re aiming for the next stage.
